Backstage Masters is built on a solid foundation of years of industry experience. Led by Nicky Thissen, we build on that history with a fresh perspective on the future. The modern event industry demands a new standard in local crew support.
Our mentality? Pure rock ‘n’ roll: we roll up our sleeves, work while others sleep, and push through until the job is done. But we combine that passion with today’s professionalism. This means: keeping our word, maintaining a representative appearance, a sober work ethic, and a deep respect for the production we are working on.
Partners in Production
We are not just a middleman; we are an active partner on the floor. Our strength lies in leadership. Led by experienced professionals like Jeroen Heeren (Operational Crew Manager), we manage our teams ourselves with our own Crew Bosses and Project Coordinators. This removes the pressure from the tour manager or local production: we know what needs to happen and we get it done.
At Backstage Masters, we carefully match the crew to the job. Whether it’s a large-scale production requiring 60 people or a small specialist team, we ensure the right people are in the right place.
From Club Shows to World Tours
Our crew feels at home anywhere. We are proud to be the preferred supplier for legendary venues such as 013 and Paradiso. We also support the logistical operations of festivals like Best Kept Secret and provide the manpower for world-class stadium concerts, such as Ed Sheeran’s. Our experience spans from the Netherlands and Belgium to productions as far as China.
